Fix and flip financing is a project specific discussion. Availability and terms must be confirmed for the borrower, property, scope of work, and intended exit. This page does not promise that a particular product is available.
Budget beyond the purchase and repairs
Include closing costs, financing costs, inspections, permits, insurance, utilities, taxes, maintenance, selling costs, and a contingency. A projected resale value is an estimate, not a guaranteed sale price.
Understand how money reaches the project
Ask whether renovation funds are paid upfront or through a draw process, which work must be completed first, and what inspections or documentation release a draw. A funding structure can create a cash gap even when the total project budget looks sufficient.
Know what happens if the timeline changes
Review the repayment schedule, loan maturity, extension requirements, fees, and any prepayment provisions before committing. A sale or refinance may take longer than expected, and future financing is not guaranteed.
